Aperture Linux Description
Aperture Linux is a freely distributable Linux operating system based on the popular openSUSE distribution and designed especially for photographers. It uses the KDE and GNOME desktop environments, and includes many feature-rich and popular applications for photography tasks, such as Darktable, Rawstudio, RawTherapee, DigiKam, as well as the GIMP image editor. The system also includes some video editors and the LibreOffice office suite. Aperture Linux is distributed as a single Live DVD ISO image, supporting only the 64-bit architectures. It can be easily installed on a local hard disk drive.
