The BLOB Blog System BLOB is simple blogging software. It is nothing new. In fact, that's the point: BLOB is a return to simplicity, a rebellion against overcomplicated blogging software.Developer commentsIt seems to me that a lot of blogging software has gotten caught up in trying to double as content management systems for their users as well. While that's surely nice for some people, I personally just want a blog. I can manage my own file system and link to images and other pages on my own, without the hinderance of some poorly-explained proprietary software telling me how to run my site.If you're like me, then perhaps BLOB is for you. All it does is post blog articles. Everything else is up to you. What's New in This Release: · t3h933k writes a snazzy new theme! Point your THEMEDIR in bsettings.php to ./bthemes/typoemag/ to use it, and there's a lovely little readme.txt in that directory for your enjoyment. · Fixed a major security hole uncovered by the lovely chaps over at /g/ · Fixed a silly bug in the user invitation system. · Added the ability to use PHP in your template files. · Pared down this readme file in favor of the online documentation. Added a bunch of things to the formatting engine: · Fixed a bug with the tag. · Added the ?? tag. · Changed the , , , and tags to actually make sense.
