With Bargain Book Mole, you can quickly check the best prices from 20,000+ merchants on the top 30 bookselling websites with just a click of your mouse No single bookseller always has the best prices--whether it is for used or new books. Amazon.com, the world's largest bookseller, usually does NOT have the lowest prices. Yet, searching multiple sites can be time consuming or annoying. With the Bargain Book Mole add-on for Firefox, you can quickly check the best prices from 20,000+ merchants on the top 30-plus bookselling websites with just a click of your mouse. The Bargain Book Mole (BBM) provides The Fastest, Easiest, and Kindest Way to Find the Lowest Prices.After you install the add-on, whenever you visit a web page that contains book price details or lists a book's ISBN, a little orange tab descends. If you click that tab, the BBM will quickly search for the lowest prices (the tab disappears if you are not on a page with a book on it). You can see a sample of this and other images of it in action in the Image Gallery below or by visiting www.BargainBookMole.org.You'll notice that orange tab of Bargain Book Mole at the left top of the web page. Clicking on it slides down the price panel and activates the price searching, which only takes a few seconds.What the Price Panel displays:- Bargains: the five best prices for used and new books are listed.- Cost: the Cost, Shipping and Total Price details.- Condition details: By hovering your mouse over the small bubbles under Details column, you can see comments about that particular book's condition without having to visit that site.- Buying: Clicking on Buy button will lead you to the purchase page for that book on a particular website.The Why of the Bargain Book MoleThe Bargain Book Mole was started by a book professional (an active book buyer, book seller, and author) who found other book price comparison search engines a bit frustrating and cumbersome. For starters, price engines typically search way too many online venues (often hundreds), which slows them down. By searching among the top 30+ online venues (each of which have tens of thousands of booksellers on them competing for customers) as BBM does, you will still get the best prices 99%+ of the time, but much faster.Also, unlike BBM, most online book search engines don’t give details about the book’s condition.Best yet, is how much faster and more convenient the BBM browser add-on is compared to visiting a price engine website. Since you don’t have to switch to a new website to find the lowest cost, you don't have to delay your price search and type in book information. The tab simply descends when you are on a page with a book that displays an ISBN (the number identifying every published book) and if you click on the tab, viola the lowest prices appear.
