PPP Tray Icon monitors the presence of the /var/run/ppp*.pid file to check for existing ppp connections.If the file is found, so that a ppp connection is active, the icon shown in the tray is the gtk.STOCK_CONNECT, clicking on the icon closes the connection (by invoking the "poff -a" command), right clicking on it opens a popup menu with the Disconnect (poff -a), Refresh (poff -r), Preferences (opens the configuration dialog), About and Quit entries.A tooltip shows the connection time. When no ppp connection is active, clicking on the icon activates the default connection (pon "default"), right clicking on it opens a popup menu with the available connections and the above mentioned Preferences, About and Quit entries.
