Yet another clone of Pong written in PyGame Pongathon is yet another clone of the Pong game, written using PyGame.Developer commentsI began writing it as an excercise to learn pygame. I don't have plans for it to be anything grander than an excercise for my own benefit, but I'm going to release it anyway. Pongathon was originally called Pyng (a lame name, I know) until it was discovered that the name was already taken by another open source project. Pongathon is by no means complete, and I do not promise it will ever be. Requirements: · Python · pygame What's New in This Release: · The main new feature of 1.2 is the addition of an AI opponent. You can now select between the new single player game against the computer or the old hot seat multiplayer game. Paddles have been widened, and the speed of everything as been changed for better balance. Lastly, the ball's collision code has been re-written. Now if the ball hits a moving paddle, its speed will change depending on the paddle's motion.
