JIRA Client Description

JIRA Client is a desktop client for Atlassian JIRA. JIRA Client is a desktop client for Atlassian JIRA.You can now work with issues anywhere and save your time by using an interactive interface for issue tracking. Here are some key features of "JIRA Client":· Offline mode with later synchronization;· Three-pane main window, which shows filters with counters, a list of issues and details of a selected issue - all on the same page;· Query builder, which allows to build any filters with and, or and not operations;· Query counters, which immediately show how many issues satisfy any given filter.Working Offline· You can work with issues when there's no connection to JIRA. JIRA Client stores all downloaded issues and metadata in local database, which allows you to browse issues, make changes and create new issues. JIRA Client will synchronize with the server later.Conflict Resolution· When JIRA Client uploads issue changes to server and sees that the issue has already been changed by someone else, it allows you to merge conflicting changes field-by-field.Complete Query Logic· You can search with any combination of filters, grouped by AND, OR and NOT operations.Query Hierarchy· You can place queries under queries in the navigation tree. When a sub-query is run, it takes issues that satisfy its parent query and filters them further.Distribution· With few clicks, you can have a set of issues break down by status, by priority or by any other "option-list" attribute.Query Counters· You can see the number of issues that satisfy each query in the navigation tree. This gives you a perspective on the project state.Tablular Distribution· You can see a table-like breakdown of issues with any two "option-list" attributes chosen as axes. This works like a two-dimensional distribution.Quick Search Within a Scope· You can search for words, ids or urls within a predefined or user-defined scope. A scope is a collection of queries that will act as "parent queries" for the quick search.Tabbed Search Results· You can inspect several issue tables, organized in tabs. Each tab keeps its own issue selection, which allows you to "iterate" through different query results at the same time.Table Auto-Refresh Mode· When table auto-refresh mode is turned on, issue table gets updated immediately with any changes, which makes it an effective monitor of a given query. When this mode is turned off, changes won't be applied until you press Refresh button, which makes it convenient to step through the table without interruptions.Hierarchical View of Linked Issues· You can see issues arranged in a hierarchy by a certain link type. For example, you can see all duplicate issues under their original issues.Local Collections· You can save issues in Favorites or other collections with drag-and-drop.One-step Move· You can move one or more issues to another project with a single-screen operation.Integration with IntelliJ IDEA· You can view issues and link issues to source code in this best Java IDE. (More integrations are coming next year.)Requirements:· Java 1.5What's New in This Release:· A screenshot capture and edit tool, fast synchronization, export to PDF, and quick find within query results.
