Introduction to Sampling is a tool that uses an image to represent a continuous function. You can use this image to stud the sampling process.The student can then slide the desired scanline up and down, quickly visualizing how samples relate to spatial locations on the image and also how the samples' values correspond to intensity at those locations.Programmed in Java, Introduction to Sampling can be used on a variety of operating systems, including popular ones such as Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
