NTFSProgs Description

Collection of utilities for doing neat things with NTFS volumes NTFSProgs is an open source suite of NTFS utilities based around a shared library. The tools are available for free and come with full source code.The NTFSProgs pre-compiled binaries package installs the following tools from the NTFSProgs project, into your Mac's /Library/NTFSProgs folder:· ntfsclone: Efficiently clone, backup, restore or rescue NTFS. · ntfscp: Copy a file to an NTFS volume. · ntfsinfo: Show information about NTFS or one of the files or directories within it.· ntfslabel: Show, or set, an NTFS filesystem’s volume label. · ntfsresize: Resize NTFS without losing data. · ntfsfix: Check and fix some common errors, clear the LogFile and make Windows perform a thorough check next time it boots. NOTE: The pre-compiled NTFSProgs binaries are provided by Dreyer Network Consultants, Inc. The package also includes a description of how you can compile them yourself if you don’t trust its source.
