Free and open source data analysis tool for your Mac The Objectsheet is a spreadsheet-like data analysis tool that organizes cells into an object-oriented structure instead of the spreadsheet's "large grid and scattered formulas".The Objectsheet makes it easy to do casual and simple calculations, but helps you keep your models safe and organized as they grow in complexity. Here are some key features of "Objectsheet": · Formulas, entered once, apply over an entire column or table · Self-contained tables that can be moved around and formatted independent of each other; not bound by a single large grid · A way to easily assign meaningful names to tables, rows, columns, and cells · "Templates" within tables organize formulas and formats · The ability to lock Templates, preventing changes to a model's rules · A default/override scheme for cell values and formulas with visual feedback · Simple but powerful mechanisms to detect or prevent entry of improper data · Data, formulas, and code can all be viewed at once · Easy to interact with external data sources (e.g., XML) Requirements: · Java What's New in This Release: · core.js: separated CONSTRAIN_STYLE and HILITE_STYLE out of respective functions. Changed Calc_prep documentation topic labels to Table_prep. Removed Math.fraction and prepFraction. These are not really core-- maybe include these as part of an importable js file. Removed hist()-not used. · os_mgr: removed image preloading at top of file-- looks like no value. Removed keyboard shortcut for "paste data as new table". Added back in copyObjects() and pasteObjects() · tableSection: removed Tablesection.setObjectCount() . us.length=... works just as well. Fixed bug in updateNoUndo(): needed parenthesis to invert "instance of Array" test. · table: removed prevs() method-- not being used. Fixed typo ("pName") in pasteValue(). · tableCell: changed onOffArray parameter to include buttonCSS instead of separator (since it was never used). forced textarea() default cols to be 1 so that table doesn't grow temporarily wide in Moz. · tableSection: changed DEFAULT_DISPLAY to be actual text() function, not string version to be eval()'d. In updatePanel, fixed cell not readonly bug for Moz. when lockTemplate. Cleaned up error reporting in updateDisplay(). · osRef.html: corrected css path.
