Open source 3D game development engine, written using Pygame/PyOpenGL Pyggel (Python Graphical Game Engine + Libraries) will ease the learning curve of getting into 3d programming, while also having a strong enough framework for full-sized applications. Pyggel has a large amount of features, that are geared towards making 3D game development as quick and simple as possible.
