VMFS Driver Description

VMFS Driver is a cross-platform and Java-based driver which modifies the files on partitions formatted with the Virtual Machine File System and makes them read-only. The Virtual Machine File System is used by VMware ESX hosts to store virtual machines and virtual disk files. VMFS Driver includes a CLI tool which enables you to mount and analyze VMFS volumes. Being developed using Java, VMFS Driver is a cross-platform driver which can be used on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
