Here are some key features of "Willow": Text Generation: · Store frequently used text snippets for easy retrieval. · Generate complex text with just a few keystrokes. · Willow also allows you to use variables in order to customize the generated text. · Use Python, AppleScript or the command line to generate text. Text Processing: · Process your selection (files or text). · Willow offers “Repeat Snippet” and “Repeat Snippet and Paste” keyboard shortcuts so you can quickly repeat the previously executed snippet on new selections. · Use Python, AppleScript or the command line for advanced text processing. Requirements: · Activation of Willow requires a working internet connection (beta versions do not require activation). · A working internet connection may be required for some features of Willow to work properly, for example automatic updates or certain advanced snippets. · “Enable access for assistive devices” in “Universal Pane” of the Systems Preferences must be enabled to use the system wide keyboard shortcuts feature of Willow. What's New in This Release: · Added loading status icon so it's apparent when Willow is ready for input. · Added update package buttons. · You can now move snippets between groups by dragging them in the manage snippet window. · Willow now detects changes to packaged snippets and prompts the user if uninstalling or updating. · Open Willow interface keyboard shortcuts now toggle the interface open/close. · Fixed bug where hook could disappear after editing a snippet. · Fixed bug that could cause the check for updates on launch option crashing Willow. · Fixed bug where non English characters were dropped. · Fixed several minor bugs.
