Whether walking or running Health Mate from Aviva provides you with everything you need to exercise your way to a healthier you!Health Mate from Aviva is a really handy way to track your activity levels on your iPhone or iPod Touch. The app has all the tools you need to get fit and stay healthy as it tracks your distance, speed and calories burned.To get started the app asks you to set your personal settings; Name, Weight, Height and Gender. With this information the app calculates your BMI and can then track your personal health progress.Once that’s done you can then track your time, distance, and calories burned on a chosen route. Includes a set of popular national walking / running routes, chosen for you by Aviva. Using GPS it locates your specific location and presents you with a range of walking / running routes close by. All routes are categorised by time, distance, difficulty level and estimated calories burnt. Each route comes with a map of that area with the start and end points clearly pointed out.Once you hit the start button the app continues to work even if you exit it out of it accidentally or want to listen to music while you exercise.Health Mate also allows you to map and save your own favourite exercise routes and track your progress on these routes to help you achieve your health goals.All routes are graphed and automatically updated over time allowing you to continuously monitor your progress.Health Mate from Aviva – looking out for you.
