Life Saver provides the added relief, comfort and protection you need in a dangerous world, and is something everyone needs to have.Here are the details: The setup takes just a couple minutes, and all settings can be changed at any time. You simply select the people in your contacts you want to be alerted, write a message to be sent along with the default location message, and enter your reply info. You also have the optional features of determining the format of the alerts and how sensitive you want the app to be to changes in movement and sound. The main screen lets you pick what you want the app to listen and feel for, if you want to have an audible alarm go off as it gets ready to send for help, and if you'd like it to continue to track and send your location after the initial alert. You are now setup for the relief, comfort and protection that Life Saver provides.Life Saver uses iPhone’s location services, which use your carrier and/or available WIFI network to determine the most exact location possible. Alerts are sent via your carrier and/or available WIFI network through the encrypted Life Saver server with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Text message alerts are supported on the following major US carriers: AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Virgin Mobile. None of the contact information used by Life Saver is tracked, saved, or recorded. The app comes preloaded with an incredible 100 alerts, and additional alerts can be easily purchased through the app if it runs out. Life Saver has not been tested for the iPod Touch.
