OnTerrain Description

Onterrain is an android application by using which a user can see its location over Google map in a android mobile. The user can mark a desired position over a google map on the Android phone. There is also Web part that perform the task of saving notes as well as location, and point information should then be saved on the server which is sent by android application. How Mobile Application Works: •An application that finds a current location of the user either GPS or Cell Id respectively. •This application starts on start up. Means that when ever mobile is switched on it starts automatically and shows icon in notification bar. •There is also validation that detects that either internet facility is reachable or not before going to start application. •Once internet validation is done the user has a choice to select location either GPS or Cell Id respectively. •Before going to google map, android app finds current location of the user then map will open that shows a marker of current location of the user. Now user can easily touch on google map so there will be a form that contain fileds of incidents, name of location , latitude and longitude respectively. Incidents are of four types: 1.Car accident 2.Car broken 3.Broken signel 4.Others (if user want to input custom note) The data entered by the user will be updated on web. Web app working: •Now in Web Part,this will save data which is sent by android app on the server. •This web part has also a login page that only authorize those people which will be a existing user. •Only authorized user can see a list which consists of name of location,latitude of location and longitude of location. •List update automatically in server when any new data comes from android application. Administrator: he/she is the one who controls all the features of the application. See all supervisors and their users, Supervisor: he/she can loggin into the webapp and check the position and marks created by the users on the field. Supervisor can create group of his users and can see their locations aswell as their incidents on map.So there must be a way to create users that can be tracked out by the supervisor. He can also draw geofence and control zone, geofence is for single user and control zone is for all users, that if a single user/s enter in/out o geofence or control zone supervisor will be notified, if they are inside in the geofence/control zone they will be appearing along with a green circle and if they are out of the field they will be appearing along with red circle, User: someone that uses the Onterrain android app in an android device. He can view and edit his profile through web.
