Summary: Talking speedometer, odometer, altimeter, and clock.Ski Buddy is your talkative companion that will keep you informed while out on the ski slopes. If you have wondered "How fast am I going?", "What was my top speed on the last run?", "How far have I gone?", "What is my altitude?", or "What time is it?", then Ski Buddy is your answer. It speaks speed, odometer, altitude, and time values at user selectable intervals. In Ski Mode, Ski Buddy will track your top speed on your way down the run, and then will speak it while you are on the lift heading back up the mountain. This app is ideal for skiing, cycling, and any sport where it is more convenient to get your speed information audibly through your earphones rather than visually by looking at your display screen. It also works well for those times when you just need a conventional speedometer app. Both portrait and landscape orientations are supported, and there is an option to override the normal display timeout to keep the display always on. Freatures:- Metric and imperial units are supported- Speed is spoken every 5 or 10 units (e.g. every 5mph or 10mph)- Odometer is spoken every 1, 5 or 10 units- Altitude is spoken every 100, 200 or 500 units- Time is spoken every hour, half hour, or quarter hour- Top speed on each run is automatically spoken- The display has large, easy to read numbers for use in the car or other vehicle- Speed, top speed, odometer, altitude, GPS coordinates, and time are displayed- Portrait and landscape orientations are supported- The display can be set to be always on- Voice reporting can be turned offSki Buddy requires a device with GPS to work correctly. It will not work on the iPod touch or wi-fi only iPads.
