If you don't want to squander your resources using applications the size of Outlook, or waste time learning obscure features you will never use, then take a look at WikAlarm. TinyAlarm is a compact, easy-to-use reminder service. Using Minimal resources, it will let you schedule all your tasks, and will notify you at the specifed time(s), via either a message box on the screen, the playing of a WAV or MIDI file, or use of the Microsoft Agent animated characters. Microsoft Agent is a collection of ActiveX programs which provide an interactive interface on web sites and in desktop applications, using 3D Animated Characters. These characters are able to speak via Text-to-Speech Synthesis, and a Text-to-Speech Engine. Microsoft Currently has four Agent Characters, as shown below.
