BabelPix Description

BabelPix takes image files with embedded keywords and translates those files to foreign languages through a simple, easy-to-use interface. BabelPix is a software package that runs on any computer capable of running Java, including Mac OS X (PPC or Universal), Windows and Linux operating systems. The software accepts .jpg and .tif files and translates keywords embedded in the files under the 'keywords' field commonly associated with IPTC and/or EXIF data. BabelPix is currently configured to translate keywords to/from English-Spanish. Additional packages are planned to translate to/from other languages, including Chinese, German, and others.
