Cahoots will provide users with a powerful yet easy-to-use crossplatform collaborative text editor. The application is written in C++, and is compiled with the Qt 4 development environment using the Qt Creator IDE available from Nokia. A collaborative editor is a form of collaborative software application that allows several people to edit a computer file using different computers. There are two types of collaborative editing: real-time and non-real-time.
