DEESIDER Description

From DEESIDAR: DEESIDAR 1.0 is a small package with a lot of power and a lot of convenience. It contains question templates, influencing factors templates, and option templates. The package has automatic weighting based on a number of natural weighting results which includes the 80: 20 rule and linear cascading of rank. Basically the program takes the user through a decision making process and carefully measures what is important to the decision maker. On that basis selects the best result. For example: A user wants to purchase a bed. He selects the template question: What product should I purchase? The second step involves the user selecting what is important to him in the decision making process. The program suggests a number of influencing factors such as: price, comfort, and size. The user then selects and ranks these influencing factors in order of importance to them. Step 3 involves in entering the options. This is simply a matter of entering each product the user has shortlisted. The Deesidar program generates a table and the user can then score each product on how they perform in terms of influencing factors. The program using special calculations selects the most suitable product based on the users inputs.
