EArt Audio Cutter Description

EArt Audio Cutter allows you to extract a segment from an audio file and convert it into another format in one single operation. It includes media playing capabilities, so that you can listen to your selected portion of audio before you actually cut it and save it on a disk. The program supports MP3, WMA, Ogg, and WAV audio formats, as much for the input as for the output. EArt Audio Cutter is simple, intuitive and easy to use. However, its graphical design is dull and uncolored, this makes it visually unattractive. You can open your source audio file – in any of the supported formats – using a standard open dialog and play it. There are two buttons designed to set the start and end points of your desired segment. Once set, you can click the "Preview" button to listen to your selected segment. Once you are satisfied with your segment, you can select the output format and configure the advanced parameters attached to each of them. For example, for the MP3 format you can set the sampling frequency, the encoder quality and the VBR (Variable Bit Rate) parameters, among others. You can also set the program to retrieve the metadata in your source audio file (such as the title, artist, album, and year) and paste it into the resulting fragment. Finally, you can save your selected segment as a new audio file by pressing the "Cut" button. You will be asked for a name and location. In short, EArt Audio Cutter is a handy tool that allows you to perform a double function with your audio files – cut them and convert them, a combination that may be very convenient in many situations.
