EmbedIT Description

The EmbedIT application was developed to be a bootloader for the 8051 family of microprocessors. Main features: Features include a Terminal emulator, for fast and easy debugging. You can configure the terminal to comunicate at different speeds with the MCU. Different colors for Echo and special ASCII characters. For documentation purposes you can save/print both the terminal window and status window. If you are developing software to communicate with another windows program, you may choose to use the seeting "Use external terminal". That way EmbedIT will release control of the serial port after a Run command is issued to the downloaded hex file. While you are testing, and debugging your applications, EmbedIT can automatically reload your hex file, when you return to EmbedIT after re-linking your hex file. All main features can be accessed thru F-keys (e.g. download hex file).
