The main window has two different sizes that you can switch between, small and large, so that you can easily make the widget non-obtrusive when needed. It also displays playback controls, such as play, pause, next and previous. The settings panel enables you to choose a feed from which to grab images, number of shown pictures (up to 100), display time for each photo and transitions (barn, fade, dissolve, radial wipe, wheel etc.). It is also possible to show labels and shuffle pictures. Right clicking on the software utility’s main window brings up a context menu, which closely resembles most Windows Gadgets. To be more exact, from here you can add new widgets, move Feed Slide Show Gadget’s frame or close it, as well as control the size of the app and access the options pane. In addition to that, you can force it to stay on top of all the other opened programs and set up the opacity, from 20% to 100%. CPU and memory usage is minimal, meaning that it does not put a strain on your PC’s performance. The response time is good and we did not register any errors, crashes or bugs during our tests.
