IconWorkshop Pro is a program that will let you create your own icons for Windows, Mac or Linux. This graphic program will help you to prepare customized icons for your system, or your own icons for your programs. By using IconWorkshop, you can prepare 256x256 for Windows Vista or 7, 512x512 icons for Mac OS C Lion 10.7 or PNG icons for Unix and Linux. You can use any of the available icon packs that the program has included, or buy an icon pack from Axialis. You will be able, of course, to create your own icons from the scratch. You can then choose the type of icon you want to create, add text to it, change color, text attributes, backgrounds, delete or move things, cut and paste objects and apply a lot of changes to your new creation, including rotation and flipping. You can even draw over the icon, using the drawing tools that the program has. Once you are satisfied with the result, you will be able to save your new icon into your own library, in the format that you like.
