This program is an audio tool that enables you to convert various media formats into common audio formats. It is also useful for extracting audio from video files and converting them into mp2, mp3, wav and wma formats. The application is provided with two editing options (clip and effects). The clip option enables you to select a part of the media file for conversion. You can easily select the part you want from the play bar or you can insert the start and end time (h:mm:ss:ms) manually for a more accurate selection. The effects feature has lots of options such as fade in/face out, band pass filter, echo effect, etc., but the program doesn't provide a real-time preview when applying those effects. This renders the effects option relatively useless. The only way you can hear those effects is after you've converted the audio file. The output options allow you to split the audio file into smaller pieces, ranging from their size (in MB) or length (in minutes and seconds). It also gives you the possibility to change the audio settings (sample rate, bitrate, channels, volume, etc) if you are an advanced user. In conclusion, it doesn't really have quite as many options as you would expect, but it is fast and reliable.
