Mobilevideo for iPod Description
Mobilevideo for iPod is an application with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to prepare videos (MPEG, VCD, WMV, MOV, Flash, MP4, 3GP and AVI) for iPod devices. The tool is packed in a plain and simple interface where you can import items via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Processing multiple entries simultaneously is possible. In the file list you can find out the source path, duration, initial size, progress, frames per second, used time and output size for each video. If you prefer the default settings, then all you have to do is specify the output profile and directory, in order to start the encoding procedure. Skilled users can tinker with the audio and video properties when it comes to the bit rate, size, frame rate, aspect ratio, sample rate and number of channels. You can create and remove output profiles, as well as preview clips in a built-in media player. The video conversion program finishes a task in a reasonable amount of time while using a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory. It is very responsive and contains user documentation. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; Mobilevideo for iPod did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the downside, the output videos have a poor image and sound quality. Plus, you cannot customize the number of CPU cores in use, as well as set Mobilevideo for iPod to automatically turn off the computer or to open the output directory when all tasks are done.
