Morgan Stream Switcher is a lightweight tool that helps you access and choose between multiple audio streams which are embedded into an AVI file. This comes in handy when you want to watch a movie but not all of your friends understand English and want to switch to their native language. Morgan Stream Switcher is also an efficient tool. While installing, it automatically adds a new entry in the context menu of Windows Media Player which you simply have to access in order to change the audio stream. Morgan Stream Switcher also helps you save some time as well. In most cases, when you have to deal with multiple streams in one AVI file, the chances are that the default one that is playing isn’t the one you want. For that reason you might start looking for applications that can remove the streams that don't interest you. With Morgan Stream Switcher you avoid wasting time with video converters that can affect image quality and simply switch between audio in a few clicks. It’s a cinch to turn on or off the directors commentaries when you’re watching a DVD. The plugin is a Directshow filter that can handle more than two audio streams and adds itself to the Windows Media Players that range from version 6 through 9. This being the case, you can see the main disadvantage of it but installing the plugin on a newer version of the player, you can see that it is recognized. All in all, Morgan Stream Switcher might not be the newest plugin out there for Windows Media Player, but it certainly still is a practical one.
