ParkControl Description

Core Parking is a technology rather similar to frequency scaling, as it attempts to throttle the CPU when idle. The major difference is that this sleep state will dynamically disable CPU cores in order to conserve power when idle, and re-enable the disabled cores when the CPU load increases once again. Core parking is supported by most newer x86 processors and newer editions of Windows.
