Finding a versatile audio converter, which will allow you to effectively do your job isn't always that easy. Spesoft Audio Converter aims to be an efficient tool that will help you convert to and from a wide variety of audio formats. Since the last time it was reviewed here, Spesoft Audio Converter has been drastically enhanced and it now offers a host of new features that I consider to be really handy. The biggest improvement is an ability to extract the sound from video files. Furthermore, it can also record the sound from devices connected to your PC. On a personal note, although I appreciate all the things the developers have done to make this application more user friendly, its biggest drawback hasn't been fixed yet. I really don't like the fact that you can not create your own list of files that you want to batch convert. Being restricted to only converting files from a single folder will usually force you to move your songs around and that may not always be the most convenient solution. However, all things considered, Spesoft Audio Converter is still a tool I would recommend as it does its job well, with a minimum of fuss and it doesn't make you spend any of your hard earned cash.
