SureGrid Control Description

SureGrid Control is a graphical OLE DB data consumer that gathers and presents information on behalf of applications. SureGrid Control displays and allows the manipulation of data through a collection of columns and rows. Every aspect of the SureGrid Control is implemented to be lightweight and scalable. Only records needed for display are loaded, allowing it to manage a large amount of data. A built-in data cache stores recently accessed records. The Coalesys SureGrid Control implements a complex data-bound ActiveX control. A complex data-bound control is capable of displaying multiple columns or rows of data from a data source. The data is retrieved through the use of OLE DB and ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) interfaces. By leveraging these standards, it allows the control to consume data from a wide variety of data providers. Along with the SureGrid Control, this package also contains three additional data bound controls: · Coalesys Region Control Presents the user with an image of the United States or Canada, and allows them to choose any state/province with their keyboard or mouse. · Coalesys Gauge Control An analog-style gauge control that uses animation techniques to render a needle on top of any image, in a flicker-free manner. · Coalesys Meter Control A numeric meter that displays a single floating-point number in an animated fashion.
