exe-eBook Creator is a compact application that can be used for creating self-running executables out of TreePad files. It is compatible with any edition of TreePad, enabling you to compile HJT or TPD files and share images, documents, icons and hyperlinks as a single EXE file. The main interface is minimalistic and does not provide many configuration options. The usage is pretty straightforward, since you only have to browse for the input TreePad file and press the 'Start' button. Optionally, you can set the application to automatically run the resulting ebook once the conversion process is finished. exe-eBook Creator provides support for password protected and encrypted TreePad databases. The input files can contain images in common file formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, ICO and so on), XML articles and forms, tree icons and hyperlinks (multiple types are supported, such as WWW, FTP, Windows commands and more). Furthermore, it implements a shell context menu for file hyperlinks, enabling you to easily open, explore, print or edit them. The generated executable files don't require any additional libraries or system files, which means that they can be stored and launched from removable drives.
