From APTE : Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning, Ani's Rocket Ride strengthens the multiple languages of children. Players (ages 3-6) help Ani, a friendly alien, learn all about school by exploring natural environments, uncovering hidden objects and examining them in a preschool classroom. Three science centers, an art center, a drama center and two "pretend" Internet centers stimulate creative exploration. A "Help for Grown-Ups" button provides guidance for adults, and a built-in e-mail connection lets children send their artwork home. Mac/Win. What's new in this version: New release includes Spanish and English versions! No Internet connection needed. Responds to curriculum standards suggested by NAEYC. Developed with the U.S. Dept. of Education and the Erikson Institute of Advanced Study in Child Development. Print option lets children print their work.
