Editor's review: This is a front-end tool for playing MP3 on small display devices with touch screens. AUTOFI is a Microsoft Windows Media Player front end / MP3 player for mobile PC. This is designed to be used with smaller displays and/or touch screens. It can act as the front end for a PC fitted to a car (CarPC), boat or other vehicles. It will let you play your MP3`s and media files on the move with a simple to use selection system. Some useful features include color themes optimized for touch screens, a simple an uncluttered interface, large control buttons, distinct day and night themes with easy switching between the two sets, etc. Media selection is file bases and not library based, making it easier to add/delete media and manage the media collection on these small form factor devices. Some of the other useful features include the Car PC/boat or other such mobile platform oriented display help such as date, time, media info and integrated GPS Speedometer and Compass, built in onscreen Keyboard for data input and saving a Playlist, etc. These are helped further by analog and digital Speed and direction display. Speed display in Mph, K-Mph and Knots is useful for use in car, boat and other such vehicles. The keyboard will be useful for running operating system commands and programs, restart and shut down of the PC. Overall the interface is simple and should not take much time getting used to.
