Daum PotPlayer is a multimedia player designed to fulfill the users need of listening to their favorite songs and videos without being worried about compatibility issues. The installation process has lots of steps to complete, such as selection of codecs to be installed, but it doesn't last more than 3 minutes. As you run the program you face up a modern and enjoyable interface, one that has lots of customization options, including color theme selection or various skins. Visually, the only downside that I found is the size of the playback menu buttons, which is too small, even when in fullscreen mode. In order to play a file, whether is audio or video, all you need to do is select the file to be played and then press the play button. The supported formats are numerous and various and include ones such AVI, WMV, MP4, 3GP, FLV, MKV for video files, and MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, APE for audio files. Two cool features are the Hardware Acceleration, which provides maximum performance by using DXVA, CUDA, QuickSync, and 3D Viewing for enjoying a 3D experience in front of your PC. It also supports various subtitle formats, such as SMI&SRT, Vobsub, Blu-ray subtitles or ASS/SSA animation.
