Gamestudio/A7 is compatible to Gamestudio/A6 and to all projects created with the latest A6 version. For ordering the upgrade to A7, you need the same A6 edition. A7 has the following improvements over A6: All A7 editions: new lite-C scripting language, fast ABT (Adaptive Binary Tree) renderer, FBX import, unlimited dynamic lights, dynamic shadows, levels-of-detail, unlimited screen resolution, bones animation, physics engine. Commercial Edition: shaders, decals, render-to-texture feature, 8 network players. Pro Edition: customizable startup panel, file packer, BSP renderer, bones weights, automatic LOD generation, trial mode support, extended network features with multiserver/zone support.
