JSONpad Description
Since the Internet now provides tools for working in various domains directly from your web browser, a high level of security and data flow must be ensured. Sending data from servers to such web apps can be done using various tools, one of which is JSONpad, being an alternative to the common XML method.Quick conversion of XMLAs the name suggests, you mostly get to work with JSON files. Luckily, there is an integrated tools that allows you to easily convert XML to JSON for more possibilities. This brings up a new window and allows you to further tweak the code, with the possibility to toggle a syntax highlighter on or off, as well an option that casts all XML values to string upon conversion. Easily view and edit codeMost of the space in the main window is taken up by the implemented editor. It's your average programming language layout, again with the option to select whether or not to highlight syntax. What's more, content of the project is displayed in a tree view, where you can insert new items or delete existing ones. The application lets you create keys, objects, as well as whole arrays. Load content from various locationsIn addition, with a single mouse click you can validate the JSON string in order to detect any possible errors. Furthermore, you can easily load JSON data from a given URL by typing in its full path in a dedicated field. More tools give you the possibility to compress the whole code or format it, depending on the view type you wish to work with. Your code can also be loaded in the tree view, letting you analyze each item contained, with the possibility to add keys mentioned above. In conclusionAll things considered, JSONpad makes for a practical application overall, posing no accommodation problems.
