If you’re in the middle of a presentation and can’t point out the areas of the screen where you want the audience to focus, then this tool should come in handy. Screen Marker is a small utility that can be used to write over the desktop. The program has a very simple interface that shouldn’t be difficult to figure out. As mentioned, Screen Marker can be used to make annotations over the screen. This can come in handy if you want to point out various things over the screen while making a presentation to your coworkers or friends. The app enables you to pick any color from a group of swatches. Additional custom shades can be added and used instead. In order to quickly access these, you have to click middle mouse button or click the colored square from the interface. Changing the color is possible at any time, not only when the program isn’t active. Once you enable the app, the mouse turns into your personal marker. In order to draw or write over the desktop, you must hold down the left mouse button. Clearing the canvas can be done by pressing the right mouse button or by disabling the tool. The bottom line is that Screen Marker is a nice program that can be quite useful. Individual with little to no experience should find it easy to work with, thanks to the intuitive layout and the app’s overall simplicity.
