Editor's review: This is a 2D/3D design and drafting tool. TurboCAD Mac Deluxe 2D/3D is a tool for computer aided design and drafting in 2D and 3D space. It comes with a simple interface so that most users of CAD tools will be able to get productive very quickly. It has a design wizard available that helps quick layout of floor plans, diagrams, and illustrations. The tool also has a library of pre-designed symbols of close to 40,000 items. Similarly, it has something like 1000 floor plans for ready use. It is compatible with ACIS solid modeling tools for engineering designs, AutoCAD DWG 2013, etc. Online help, video tutorials, and user tips are provided. For speedy architectural designs, besides the ready floor plans, it has parametric door and window designs available. Import and export of designs to DWG/DXF formats and to other CAD formats is possible. They could be exported to DTP platforms for creation of marketing brochures, etc. A multi-step wizard lets you set up drawing, defining unit format, paper size, print, drawing scale annotation settings, text and dimension, etc. Solid modeling is supported by the latest ACIS modeling engine. Several conic tools are available. Drawings are often marked up and redlined for changes and updates. This tool makes that activity quite simple through its mark-up and redlining tools. Markup of 2D and 3D objects using line, circle, revision cloud, highlighter, text, rectangular text box and leader can be done quite simply and easily. Trimming tool is available.
