DPG is an audio-video container format specifically designed for Nintendo. Despite having low audio and video quality, this format has the advantage of being extremely light. Only a few target profiles are available, all identified by the name of the supported Nintendo device. Additionally, it allows you to extract audio from video into MP2 and MP3. You can also create customized profiles and save them for later use. As an additional feature, you will be able to preview videos and take snapshots of given frames. However, this software does not allow you to perform other operations such as cropping, cutting or adding special effects to the videos. In general, Xilisoft DPG Converter specializes in a single task, which makes it easier to use. However, you might prefer to spend your money on a converter supporting a wider range of formats.
