Archboot Description

Archboot is an open source project that's part of the Arch Linux operating system, but designed for installation or rescue operations. Think of Archboot as a netboot distribution for Arch Linux. With Archboot you will be able to install Arch Linux directly from the Internet, without the need to download and burn an ISO image on a CD or USB media. Archboot can also be used to successfully rescue existing, yet broken Arch Linux installations. It provides support for both the 32-bit and the 64-bit architectures. The distro uses the hwdetect utility and a different install script, taken from the official Arch Linux installation images. It runs entirely in RAM using iniramfs.
