PredictWind Tracker Description

Tracker by PredictWind.The PredictWind Tracker App allows your yacht club to get free Race Tracking on their website. Please email us at support@predictwind.com to get your yacht club to activate the website plugin feature. If your yacht club website plugin is not active, you can still view your own track within the Tracker App. After opening the App, select your yacht club, race, division and enter your boat name. Take your iPhone with you on-board and your boat will appear in your yacht club’s website so that spectators can watch the race. Setup Instructions • On Race day please ensure your iPhone is fully charged, and its primary purpose is for race tracking so the phone battery will last for the entire race.• Power the iPhone off and on to ensure no other Apps are running to conserve the battery.• Please ensure the Wifi & Bluetooth are turned off on the iPhone to conserve the battery. • Open the Tracker App, and setup the “Race Settings”. You will need to do this for each race.• We recommend you place the iPhone in your jacket pocket in a waterproof cellular bag available from any marine store. • If the iPhone is below decks, the Tracker App will be of limited use due to the lack of GPS/3G coverage! The data usage for the App is approximately 2 MB for a 24hr period.
