nOS is an open source Linux operating system specifically designed to be installed and used on netbooks and old hardware. Being based on the popular Ubuntu Linux operating system, and using the KDE desktop environment, nOS is designed with speed, simplicity and ease of use in mind. nOS is crafted especially for Linux beginners, users who used the Windows operating system and don't have money to invest into a brand-new Windows 8 machine. nOS is distributed as Live CD ISO images, supporting the 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. A Non-PAE ISO image is also available for download.
